LogicalDOC 9.2.3: More Power, More Intelligence, More Security in Document Management

We are pleased to announce the release of LogicalDOC 9.2.3, an update that marks a further step forward in the evolution of our document management platform. This new version introduces significant improvements in performance, security, and technological capabilities.

The goal of LogicalDOC 9.2.3 is to make document management even more efficient and intelligent, enabling companies to optimize processes and reduce manual tasks, while simultaneously improving data quality and information control.

Auto-Fill with Fillers

One of the main new features of this release is the introduction of Fillers, advanced tools that allow the automatic compilation of document metadata. These are configurable components used to automatically extract and populate structured information from documents. They define specific data (tags, language, and document classes) and are identified and retrieved from the document content itself. Thanks to this feature, LogicalDOC can analyze file content and automatically assign relevant information such as tags, language, or document class, without the need for manual intervention.

Autofill can be integrated into various operational scenarios: it can be activated manually, applied via predefined actions, or performed completely automatically based on criteria configured at the folder level. This approach allows for standardized document classification, reduced errors, and accelerated workflows.

Greater control with the Impersonation feature

LogicalDOC 9.2.3 also introduces the Impersonation feature, designed to offer greater operational flexibility while maintaining high security standards. This feature allows one user to act on behalf of another, provided explicit authorization has been granted.

Impersonation is particularly useful in support, delegated management, or business continuity scenarios, allowing for rapid intervention on critical tasks without compromising the traceability of actions. The system is configured to ensure rigorous control: the function is disabled by default and can only be activated by explicitly defining authorized users. Furthermore, to ensure maximum system security at all times, LogicalDOC maintains a history of all actions performed during the impersonation phase. All operations can be tracked and their legitimacy easily verified, quickly highlighting any improper use.
